Monday, June 4th, 2029: The Leverkusen Expos received word today that right fielder Appolonius Pfaller was selected Sub League 2 Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games.
Pfaller took full advantage of all 22 plate appearances last week as he hit .455 with 10 hits, 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
This year Pfaller has hit at a .259 clip with 20 RBIs, 5 home runs and 23 runs scored. |

Monday, June 4th, 2029: One of the league's most exciting young players, Paul Herzog of the Erfurt Victors earned himself Sub League 1 Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games.
For the week the 21-year-old catcher had a lofty .579 average (11-19), collecting 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
For the year Herzog is hitting .348 with 12 home runs. His stats include 36 runs batted in and 39 runs scored. |
 | Norris and Czihal Brawl, League Suspends Them
Sunday, June 3rd, 2029: The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at Condors Ballpark have been suspended for 5 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are John Norris of the Gütersloh Condors and Dustin Czihal of the Halle Blackbears.
Norris is hitting at a .271 mark this season. His stats show 2 home runs, 24 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has played 52 games for the Condors.
Currently Czihal has a record of 5-5 with 30 strikeouts and 12 walks in 73.2 innings and a 4.40 ERA. |
