Monday, April 10th, 2028: Destroyers starting pitcher Pedro Márquez could miss 5 days with an undisclosed injury he suffered while making repairs to his house. At first club officials were concerned that Márquez might miss additional time, but doctors have revised their earlier assessment.

Monday, April 10th, 2028: It was a fantastic week for Havana third baseman Billie Harris and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Yannigan League Player of the Week Award.
Last week Harris hammered the ball at a torrid .450 pace, going 9-20 with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

Monday, April 10th, 2028: At the age of 28, Bob DeBerry might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Worcester second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .684 batting average. For his efforts DeBerry collected the Arlington League Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 13 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 home runs and 3 RBIs last week in 5 games.
